Often referred to as popcorn tea, Genmaicha is a blend of Japanese green tea with roasted brown rice bits some of which have popped and look like a small piece of popcorn. It is one of the most popular teas in Japan and is a wonderful accompaniment to fine foods due to its medium body and toasty flavour. Always delicious, Genmaicha should be a staple in every green tea lover’s collection!

Brewing Instructions:As with all loose leaf green tea, Genmaicha is best brewed with water below boiling, approx. 80°C. Use 1 tsp of tea per cup and infuse green tea for 1-3 minutes.
