It is one of the most popular teas in Japan and is a wonderful accompaniment to fine foods due to its medium body and toasty flavour. Dragonwell (Lung Ching) is a fantastic Chinese green tea with a distinctive flavour and tea leaf appearance. Dragonwell is easily identified by its unique flattened emerald green tea leaves, a product of traditional pressing techniques from the Westlake region of Zheizang Province. The champagne coloured infusion has a smooth medium bodied flavour and a nutty undertone. Dragonwell is one of the esteemed Ten Famous Teas of China and is one of our favourite green teas.
