Gunpowder is a popular green tea from China that is distinguished by its leaf appearance. Rolled into small spheres resembling pellets of gunpowder, the infusion is unique among Chinese green teas offering a medium bodied cup with brisk flavour.
Brewing Instructions:As with all loose leaf green tea, Gunpowder is best brewed with water below boiling, approx. 80°C. Use 1 tsp of tea per cup and infuse green tea for 1-3 minutes.

Often referred to as popcorn tea, Genmaicha is a blend of Japanese green tea with roasted brown rice bits some of which have popped and look like a small piece of popcorn. It is one of the most popular teas in Japan and is a wonderful accompaniment to fine foods due to its medium body and toasty flavour.
